Rosapepe Retreats offers the traveler a unique trip experience where they will feel refreshed, restored and rejuvenated. In addition to experiencing the magic of the Italian countryside and culture, our guests can enjoy the beauty and mud treatments of our family hotel, as well as “take the waters” each day after the excursions. The health and relaxation benefits of the natural mineral waters has been well documented.
Tours with Rosapepe Tours will be offered twice yearly, Spring and Fall. Customized retreats are available anytime of year. Seasonal activities and excursions include olive oil pressing and sampling, boat trips to the luminous grottos or grape picking at wineries just to name a few. Offerings are subject to the time of year.

Included in the price of this tour:
- 4 nights at Hotel Terme Rosapepe in the lush mountainous countryside of Contursi in the region of Campania, 3 nights at an upscale boutique designer hotel in an undisclosed special location.
- Transportation during included group activities as per itinerary, one time each way group transfers between the Naples airport and the hotel on arrival and between the hotel and the Naples airport on departure on selected tour.
- Delicious meals: daily buffet breakfasts, select lunches and dinners per excursion
- Sightseeing, fees, and admissions, as per itinerary; full time RR tour escort, professional in-country guides, bi-lingual (English and Italian) local guides in selected attractions, quoted prices include the cost of the tour operator

Sample Itinerary
An itinerary with Rosapepe Retreats is generally as outlined below. However, we customize our tours to the particular time of year, and the excursions may vary according to weather.

| Day 1 | Arrival at Napoli / Capodichino International Airport (NAP) by 11 AM. Meet Susan Rosapepe and/or Gerry Gaeta and embark on your trip of a lifetime! You will be welcomed by our exceptionally knowledgeable Tour Director along with our driver for the week. On our way to the hotel we will stop at Porta Di Ferro Estate for an authentic, organic and delectable Italian lunch prepared by the family of the estate. After a tour of the estate, we will depart for Contursi Terme, and check into the Grand Hotel Rosapepe. The afternoon is free to wander and rest. Welcome Cocktail and Orientation will be in the evening followed by traditional Italian dinner. |
| Day 2 | Paestum Visit with Guide Visit the Greek ruins, followed by free time for lunch in town. The tour also includes guided visit of this UNESCO site museum. Return to hotel to rest and have time to enjoy the spa and thermal pools. |
| Day 3 | Visit the doorway to the Amalfi Coast, Vietri Sul Mare. Enjoy the breathtaking views and learn how the world famous Vietri ceramics are made. There will then be free time for shopping and eating and exploring this charming village before heading back to the hotel for rest and thermal spa time. |
| Day 4 | Tour Mozzarella di Bufala Farm and Cooking Classes with Cecilia. Experience a day at the farm and learn about cheese-making starting with the milking process, before sitting down to taste the freshly made cheese. This visit will then be followed by Cooking Classes with Cecilia, a featured chef in the special section on exceptional Italian chefs in Ambassador magazine (publication of NIAF, Winter, 2013) |
| Day 5 | Visit the breathtaking sites of the Cilento Coast – Agropoli and San Marco Castellabate |
| Day 6 | Experience a unique Cilento Fig Farm or Winery and tour the production facilities. This tour consists of visiting actual working farms where the products of the Cilento white figs are produced, or tasting the various specialty wines (seasonal). Typical Cilento lunch is included. |
| Day 7 | An hour from our hotel is the stunning and picturesque coastal village of Palinuro where we embark on a boat trip to the Blue Grotto followed by free time to wander the town. Early afternoon we return to the hotel for relaxation, spa and thermal pools. Evening “Arriverderci” reception following by farewell dinner at Grand Hotel Rosapepe. |
| Day 8 | Transfer to Napoli / Capodichino International Airport (NAP) or train station (Napoli Centrale), feeling refreshed and rejuvenated to carry your glorious memories home with you forever! |
Each day begins with European-style Breakfast Buffet in hotel dining area.
Late mornings we will depart the hotel and embark on an exhilarating Italian adventure for the day.
Lunch will occasionally be on your own as you are free to further explore the locations we have just introduced you to. Depending on the location, for example, if we are at the winery, we may have a group lunch.
Returning to the hotel in late afternoon, you are free to explore the luscious grounds and gardens, soak in the mineral waters, and arrange for a spa treatment or mud bath.
Every evening’s dining experience will surprise and delight the palate, introducing our guests to the exceptional cuisine of the finest of local Italian chefs.
